SharePoint Community,‚Äč
As we begin a brand 2016, the Charlotte Area SharePoint User Group finds itself undergoing change. As many of you may know, and some of you are just discovering, CASUG is in the process of leadership change. After much reflection and discussion, a group of volunteers have organized, and are dedicated to making CASUG the best SharePoint user group in the Southeast.

The new leadership team is committed to making this the best year for CASUG yet. These are ambitious goals, and we cannot achieve them without you, the local SharePoint community. After all, this user group is and always should be all about YOU, the community. We need to hear from you and what you would like to see from CASUG moving forward. We've created a short survey, which you can take here to provide your feedback. Please take a few moments and tell us what you think.

We look forward to embracing the challenges that lie head in 2016. The CASUG leadership team is working hard to bring in great speakers to cover the topics you're most interested in, beginning in February. We're currently recruiting speakers and working on the schedule for 2016. We're also excited to announce that CASUG meetings will be taking place on Microsoft's Charlotte campus at 1 Microsoft Place just off of Arrowood Dr. That's right, we'll be on campus with Microsoft and the Microsoft Team!

The team is also hard at work planning for 2016's SharePoint Saturday. In 2015, CASUG discovered a great new location for SharePoint Saturday, UNC Charlotte's Center City Campus. This venue provides many exciting opportunities for advancing SharePoint Saturday. The team is focused on delivering the best SPS in the southeast! While Microsoft Ignites the SharePoint world in Atlanta on September 26-30, CASUG will set the stage by sparking the ignition here in the Carolinas on SharePoint Saturday 2016.

We hope you will join CASUG in the new year as we come together to learn, to network, and to grow this great SharePoint community. We cannot do it without you. We hope you'll unite with us on the exciting journey ahead in 2016.

Sincerely,

CASUG Leadership
